Ectopic Eruption of the Maxillary Permanent First Molar: A Brief Review and Clinical Case Report

The Ectopic Eruption of the Maxillary Permanent First Molar (EEMPFM) is an eruption anomaly, characterized for maxillary permanent first molar’s impaction in distal surface deciduous second molar. etiology related with change axial axis molar associated missing space maxilla. diagnosis combination clinical and complementary examination. There are two types Eruption: reversible irreversible. irreversible type requires orthodontics treatment, because it causes root resorption molar, causing its premature loss. For procedures can be used aim promoting inclination ectopic using separator elastics, removable or fixed appliances. this work to report a case patient 9 years 6 months old, female gender, who attended Clinic presenting EEMPFM right treatment was appliance composed acrylic base plate clasps finger spring activated against resin button bonded on mesiobuccal cusp correction anomaly obtained 35 days treatment. Therefore, sequence from indication adequate method fundamental obtain satisfactory results.
